Retail Eagle Carpets 2026

Behind an ordinary front door

Eagle Carpets has been on Lockhurst Lane in Coventry for over forty years. Inside, it’s a serious independent flooring showroom, big and properly stocked. From the street, you’d never know. That gap, between how good a place is and how little of it carries from outside, was the thing to solve.

Digition, a branding and production agency, brought me in on a wider rebrand for Eagle Carpets. The brief was footage that could be cut more than one way: a standalone fly-through of the showroom, plus clean individual runs their editors could build social content around alongside their own ground-level material.

The fly-through opens on the street, catching the shopfront and signage before it moves through the front door. Inside, it runs the full showroom in order: hardwood and laminate by the entrance, aisle after aisle of carpet rolls, the artificial grass at the back, then a loop to the front and a rising exterior shot to close. Every part of the business in one continuous run. Alongside it I shot traditional exterior drone footage for the same pool, and delivered the lot as raw footage for Digition’s editors to cut against their own work.

One visit produced a finished fly-through and a bank of runs the agency could keep cutting from. That’s the value of building footage to flex: the shoot pays out across a campaign, not a single video. It’s also how a lot of the best work happens, slotting into an agency’s project as the specialist who handles the part they can’t.
